The Grit Gazette

Opinion

You have a take. Put it in print.

Every issue carries two opinion pieces written by the people in our gyms. Pitch yours in two minutes.

Owner's View

For gym owners, operators and coaches. Pricing, staff, members, the business you actually run.

Member's View

For members and athletes. What training, racing and your gym's community taught you.

How it works

1. PitchTell the chat your name, gym, and the point you want to make in 2 or 3 sentences.
2. Hear backThe editors read every pitch and reply by email either way.
3. Write250 to 300 words in your own words, under your real name.
4. ApproveWe edit for length and accuracy and check any facts. Nothing prints until you approve the final text and sign a short release.

The rules

  • Real name and a real connection to a gym. No anonymous pieces.
  • Your opinion is yours. Facts in it get checked.
  • If you sell to gyms, you can't write about your product category. Opinion space is never sold.
  • Pieces are unpaid.

Pitch your piece

An AI assistant takes your pitch. The editors decide, and a person replies by email.
